Eleonora Romanescu
One of the leading and legendary artists of the Republic of Moldova and the former Soviet Union, Eleonora Romanescu has been awarded the honorary title of the People's Artist of the Republic of Moldova, the Knight cross of the order of merit of the Republic of Moldova and the order of the Badge of honour of the Soviet Union.
The biography of her life and work was recently published by the National Library of the Republic of Moldova.
